Dave had his final interview with Holland Christian today and he is now officially the Athletic Director! This is an answer to prayer and we feel blessed. For a full story from the HC website, click here.
Congrats honey! Holland Christian is a better place with you in it!
Just a side note, this is my 100th post. I think that is a big deal in blog world or something. So I'll pat myself on the back for that accomplishment. That and the fact that the kitchen floor got washed today! Enough being productive, I'm off to take a nap.
Happy Wednesday!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that
It has been awhile since I've last posted. Laziness mostly, but I did get sucked into the Twilight series so that hasn't helped matters. We've been up to a few things in the last couple of weeks, but mostly just enjoying summer (except this week feels more like mid October than like July...)
-Jackson ditched the training wheels and is now the proud rider of a two-wheeler!
-Jackson also just finished his second week of swimming lessons through the Holland Rec. department. He did really well and has really improved. He eagerly stuck his face in the water, slapped flippers on his feet, and jumped off the diving board. No surprise really! This is him at 2, jumping off a floating dock.
-Will is still wearing undies, with very few accidents. He still has a fit when I try to put a diaper on him, even at night. Truth be told, he is dry after every nap and dry almost every morning, but I'm not going down the no diaper at night road just yet. I figured he wouldn't want any more pictures of him in his underwear floating around on the Internet, so I settled for this one instead.
Notice the pajamas? This was a pre-breakfast (cookie-dough) treat.
-Dave was offered, and accepted, the position of Athletic Director at the High School. He will be the interim AD for this coming school year and is planning to apply for the job when it opens up in the Spring. Both the Grand Rapids Press and the Holland Sentinel had great things to say. Click on the links if you'd like to read the articles. I'm so proud of him!
-I've been sewing some. Making a couple of baby gifts and a shirt for Will. The sewing machine is having some issues, so I'm going to hold off on any further projects until my sewing coach arrives from Massachusetts in a few short weeks! :)
-We are headed to Arcadia for the weekend to hopefully enjoy some sunshine, fireworks and good family time!
