Blame it on the Baxters

So, after my short (or not so short) vacation from blogging, I'm back. I completely and 100% blame Karen Kingsbury and the Baxter family for my lack of blogging. I started reading the Redemption series shortly before Christmas and was a little obsessive in finishing not only the Redemption series, but also the Firstborn and Sunrise series as well. I didn't take a short break after to read The Shack. (Which, by the way, I think everyone should read...so interesting). I think Dave and the kids are quite glad these books are done too, I'm pretty sure they were feeling neglected. I heard that someone called them peanut butter books because when you are hooked into one of these books, it is peanut butter sandwiches for dinner...sad but true. Needless to say, I really enjoyed reading the books and feel like I look at life just a little bit differently now. I'm still trying to figure out what to read next and am open to suggestions.

YEAH! She's back! I love your new background. I'll have to fill you in on the button thing...a bit tricky. Have a great night!

You better read the many other KK books- I recommend ALL of her's...I'm a HUGE fan! I cannot believe you did all 3 series of the Baxter family so fast!!:) I have a library full if you want me to bring any to Sara for you to borrow. I buy KK books that aren't even out yet on Amazon for me to read and my sis-in-laws, and then just wait for them to come in the mail- it's great!

Glad your blogging again - thinking we're your best long distance fans
Your authenticity - the realness as you write about your family oozes through the words and passes on blessings to all who read it
